I don’t think I’ll ever throw a dinner party without putting together some kind of cheese plate. In addition to being centered around cheese, it’s a great way to play with seasonal flavors and colors. For this gorgeous cold weather baby, I went with double creme brie, manchego, and a nice sharp cheddar. Crunchy marcona almonds are a cheese plate staple. Dried apricots, juicy pomegranates, and grapes all add some brightness. There’s a head of roasted garlic and some local honey for spreading on bread, and dark chocolate pieces just for fun.
